Aching to create art and you’re under 30 years old? Free workshop and cultural program Villa Rana Open Art continues at Cultural Centre Villa Rana!

In workshops of February–March we’ll experiment with encaustic painting and electronic music making, assemble an alternative self-portrait in collage of images and words, and create community art. In the event the whole building is full of diverse and interdisciplinary art activities!

In this year’s first Open Art workshop we have a chance to experiment with new ways of making art or music! In Encaustronic-workshop we try out creating encaustic paintings with irons and beeswax and electronic music with drum machines, synthesizers and sampled sounds.

Neither of the techniques require any prior skills or knowledge, but a curious and experimenting mindset helps!
